Strip Cut Stars the easy Starmaker® Master Template Way
Step 1: From the dark fabric -
From the light fabric -

| Step 2: Sew the strips together in sets of 3, as shown. Press seam allowances toward the darker fabric.
Step 3: Use the Starmaker 5 to cut the combination strips, as shown. Place the bottom of the Starmaker 5 on the bottom of the strip at the far left of the strip. Cut the angle. On the top strip, cut the combination strip every 2-5/8". On the bottom strip, cut the combination strip every 4-3/4". |

| Step 4: Sew the cut combinations into points of the star. Match seam lines by pinning, or by using double faced basting tape.
Press seam allowances all in one direction. |

| Step 5: Sew 2 points together. Start sewing at the center of the star, at the very edge of the fabric. Match seam lines by pinning or by using double faced bastint tape. Sew all the way to the outside edge of the star.
Press seam allowances. Set 6: Sew another 2 points together in the same way. |

| Step 7: Sew these 2 sets of points together. But this time, start sewing at the seamline between the points, just put the needle donw into the seamline. Drop your feed dogs or set stitch length at 0 and take 3 or 4 stitches to lock the seams. Sew to the outside edge of the accent strip. | ![]() |
| Step 8: Sew the remaining point - Match center points and lock your stitches. Start sewing at the seam line. Sew all the way to the outside edge of the star. Press seam allowance | ![]() |
