It’s been an exciting spring. Our TV web site is up and running and you all seem to like watching our “Videos on Demand”
Quilt Market was filled with the newest items. They should be in your local quilt shops soon. Lots of new fabrics and notions! Strips are hot this year, try to incorporate them into your quilts.
The quilts at Paducah were spectacular. And, of course, we had our annual trek to Patti’s Restaurant for their 2″ pork chops. I look forward to this every year. We usually drive to Paducah. The trees flower and leaf out more with each passing mile. We leave Michigan at the end of our winter, but Paducah is in full bloom.
We’ve all been having fun with the ABC Quilt pattern, our newest. Have you started yours yet? We used the ABC Embroidery Blocks from Stitchitize.
The designs are perfect for this diamond quilt. If you haven’t tried the Y-Seam technique yet, you’ll need it for this quilt.
Memorial Day is fast approaching and my children from California and Colorado will be here, supposedly for a working weekend. We’ll see how much work and how much play actually gets done!
