Fat quarters are what is needed for this one. The blocks are a great way to show up your fabric is you don't want to cut it too small.

Easy enough for a beginner but the results are satisfying enough for the more experienced. Try it made up in flannel.

A great project that you can piece in an afternoon. Fabric used in the photo is Serenity Yarn Dyes by Maywood. Quilt measures 58" x 58".
