Isabella Cardigan Pattern by Deby Lake of O/C Knitiot Designs
This pattern came from a yarn shop that has closed so may be shopworn.
This design brought to mind the Renaissance era. So it is named after the “First Lady of the Renaissance”, Isabella d’Este 1474-1539.
She was a patron of the Arts and also set artistic fashions and standards.
