Isabella Cardigan Pattern by Deby Lake of O/C Knitiot Designs

This pattern came from a yarn shop that has closed so may be shopworn.
This design brought to mind the Renaissance era. So it is named after the “First Lady of the Renaissance”, Isabella d’Este 1474-1539.
She was a patron of the Arts and also set artistic fashions and standards.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Sizes: Directions are for women’s size Small.
Changes for Sizes Medium, Large, 1x, 2x & 3x are in parentheses.

Materials: FibraNatura Sensational worsted weight by Universal Yarn (1.76 oz., 90yds), 9, (11,12, 14, 15, 17) balls.
Size 8 US needles 24-32”
4-3/4” buttons
This garment has a generous ease for comfort. It is knit in the round and is seamless starting at the bottom edge.
When you castoff, you are done, no sewing required.
Gauge: 4.5 stitches, 7 rows per 1” in stockinette
