Looked at this braided purse/bag pattern and the first thing that came to mind was Beam/Braid me up Scotty.

This is such a fun bag - about 16" X 14" X 5" and you can make it elegant or funky - depending on the fabrics you choose.

It has a pocket, is fully lined and can easily be made from jelly rolls.

Braided handle gives it its own look.
